SQL Commands

I think Professor Gibson mentioned this in class, but I can't remember. As far as writing SQL commands in jedit, is it better to write all the commands out at once and then run it through Oracle or write each command separately and save it, then run it through Oracle. It would seems like the commands would pile up after awhile in jedit if you did it individually. Just wondering
